Registration at the conference

We’re excited to share that for GHS2026, we’ll be using electronic registration kiosks available at the registration desk to streamline the check-in process.

To assist with a smoother start to the conference, pre-registration will be open on Monday 8 June from 4:00pm–6:00pm on Level 3 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). We encourage delegates to collect their badges during this time where possible.

GHS2026 will officially commence on Tuesday 9 June, with registration open from 7:15am–8:30am. Please arrive early to collect your registration badge, as entry to the conference is not permitted without registration. Delegates must display their badge at all times while attending the conference.

During the conference

For keynote sessions, all audience members are encouraged to use the Conference App to submit questions, which will be coordinated by the session moderator. For conference panels, roving microphones will be available for audience participation.

When it is lunch time

When registering for GHS2026, all delegates were asked to enter their dietary requirements. Catering will clearly label all items according to dietary specifications (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.).

  • All food products served in the Centre are HALAL certified.
  • There will also be a special table for dietary accommodations in the exhibition area. Please do not diverge from your stated dietary needs, as items are specifically allocated.
  • If you have registered for a sponsored breakfast or lunch session, your dietary requirements will be catered to at that session.

Closing drinks and awards

An award ceremony for the best poster and best oral presenter will take place during the Closing Drinks in the Banquet Hall, with winners announced at 5:30pm, determined by the Scientific Committee.

Registered delegates will receive their Certificate of Attendance following the close of GHS2026.

If you’re presenting a poster

Poster presentations are an important element of the GHS2026 program. Poster boards will be located in the exhibition hall, where food and beverages are served during breaks.

Velcro dots will be available at the Registration Desk for poster presenters.

If you have submitted a pre-recorded poster presentation video, it will be accessible via the Conference App.

Attending Sponsored Sessions

We are thrilled to announce 10 Sponsored Sessions being held over breakfast and lunch breaks during the conference. You can find the program on our website.

You must register in advance to attend these sessions via the conference app. If registered, please attend on time to ensure fairness- these spaces are limited. All sponsored sessions include catering served outside the room, so there is no need to visit the exhibition area for meals.

Along with sponsored sessions, workshops also require registration, which can be completed through the conference app.

Networking Corner and Charging Stations

Looking to network? Our exhibition area features dedicated networking zones, charging stations, and spaces to chat with fellow global health security professionals. It’s the perfect place to recharge – both your devices and your ideas.
