As we face growing threats such as emerging infectious diseases, escalating climate-related health emergencies, and the erosion of trust in public health institutions, the need for collective action has never been greater. These challenges demand coordinated, cross-sectoral responses that are grounded in evidence, equity, and innovation.

GHS2026 will bring together global leaders, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and shape the future of health security. By uniting voices across disciplines and borders, we aim to build a safer, healthier, and more resilient world for all.

Our Mission

The mission of the Global Health Security conference is to provide a forum where leaders, researchers, policy-makers, and representatives from government, international organisations, civil society, and private industry from around the world can engage with each other, review the latest research and policy innovations, and agree solutions for making the world safer and healthier. To that end, our mission is to help foster a genuinely multidisciplinary community of practice that is committed to working collaboratively to enhance global health security and eliminate disease, irrespective of its origin or source.

Who Should Attend

The conference will bring together practitioners, researchers, educators, representatives and decision-makers across the fields of public health, medicine, veterinary science, agriculture, government, defence, international relations, sociology and anthropology to examine the progress made to date in strengthening health systems and identify the gaps and opportunities for enhancing the international community’s ability to respond more efficiently and effectively to future adverse health crises.
